Crafty Crusades: Fall Decor

Fall is my absolute favorite season!  Fall colors, sweatshirts, jeans, boots, bonfires, Halloween and Thanksgiving!  I have always wanted to decorate more for fall than just simple jack-o-lantern that has been our custom.  

Here's my side entry door area decorated for fall this year.  We've decorated a couple of pumpkins already but I have another one to go so I'll do a separate post about them.

This is my wreath.  I didn't make it and I've had the orange leaves wreath part for awhile.  It was looking a little sad this year so I also hung this sunflower welcome sign with it.  The little sunflower always looked a little small by itself.  I really like the combination.

 It wouldn't be fall without football right?  :-)  Go Pack Go!

Can you believe these are from the dollar store?

This I did make... And all of these items are from the dollar store.  I already had the flower pots.  I simply stacked them on top of each other.  To give some height inside the pot, I placed a basket inside the pot and laid a piece of material over the basket.  After that I just played with placing these items until I liked the arrangement! Isn't it great!  I'm really excited about it!  I usually just store my flower pots in the fall and winter but not I have some other ideas for Christmas, Valentine's Day, St. Patricks's Day and Easter!
